As we are now into February there are two new things I am excited to be bringing into my practice this month.
The first is I have recently purchased a paraffin wax bath. You can now add a paraffin wax treatment to any one of your massage therapy treatments for $10.00. Paraffin wax treatments are useful for symptomatic relief of pain caused by:
· Arthritis
· Bursitis
· Chronic joint inflammation
· Muscle tension/stiffness
· Muscle spasms; and
· Stimulates circulation
Paraffin wax treatments may also be prescribed for post-fracture or post-dislocations, strains, sprains, conditions where scar tissue restricts range of motion and other conditions where heat is commonly indicated.
Paraffin wax treatments should not be used when there are open cuts, wounds, inflammatory skin conditions, neoplasm (growths), peripheral vascular disease (where circulation is impaired), acute inflammation, and conditions where sensation is reduced or absent.
For more information please ask Meagan.
And lastly I have acquired a new scheduling system. With this new scheduling system you will get a confirmation through email of your scheduled appointments along with reminder emails. Through your confirmation email you can either cancel or reschedule right from the email. The online scheduling system is also accessible from my website here
Finally a reminder that on Monday February 16, 2015 our office will be closed for Family Day.
Thank you all again for making my job so fulfilling and being amazing clients!
